More than three decades after Knots Landing aired its final episode, three familiar faces from the beloved CBS drama have reunited — and the nostalgic moment has fans celebrating all over again.
Donna Mills, Michele Lee and Lynne Moody, who portrayed Abby Ewing, Karen MacKenzie and Patricia Williams respectively, recently came together for a casual reunion. A photo of the actresses quickly drew attention from longtime viewers who still remember their memorable roles on the 14-season primetime soap.
The reunion was shared on Instagram by blogger Lisa Naomi, Moody’s daughter, who posed alongside the three actresses at a restaurant. In her caption, Naomi playfully asked fans who was ready for a little Knots Landing reunion and referred to the women by both their character names and their real names.
At 85, Mills appeared alongside 84-year-old Lee and 81-year-old Moody in the photo, creating a rare glimpse of three stars from the classic series together again.

Fans Celebrate the Surprise Reunion
The picture immediately prompted an enthusiastic response from Knots Landing fans, many of whom were delighted to see the actresses reconnect decades after the show ended.
Several commenters praised the reunion and the actresses themselves. One fan expressed excitement about seeing Moody with her former castmates, while another praised the work she did on the series. Others simply described the photo as wonderful and shared their happiness at seeing the longtime favorites together.
The reaction reflects the enduring affection surrounding Knots Landing, which remains a nostalgic favorite among viewers who followed the drama during its original run.
The series aired on CBS from 1979 to 1993, spanning 14 seasons and 344 episodes. As a spinoff of Dallas, the show centered on the complicated lives, relationships and conflicts of families living in a Southern California cul-de-sac.
Along with Mills, Lee and Moody, the cast included Ted Shackelford, Joan Van Ark, Kevin Dobson, William Devane, Pat Petersen, Constance McCashin, Nicollette Sheridan, Julie Harris, Tonya Crowe and Doug Sheehan, among many others.
The Knots Landing Legacy Lives On
Although the original series ended in 1993, its cast members have continued to revisit the show and the friendships formed during its long run.
Michele Lee, Donna Mills and Joan Van Ark have particularly kept the Knots Landing connection alive through We’re Knot Done Yet, a podcast launched in 2025. The audio and video series allows the actresses to revisit their experiences on the show, share behind-the-scenes memories and reflect on the friendships that developed over the course of their careers. The podcast was still releasing episodes in 2026, demonstrating that interest in the series and its stars remains strong.
The latest reunion is not the first time Knots Landing alumni have returned to celebrate the series. In 2005, CBS brought several original cast members together for Knots Landing Reunion: Together Again, including Lee, Mills, Van Ark, William Devane, Kevin Dobson and Ted Shackelford.

For fans who watched the original drama, however, seeing Mills, Lee and Moody together in a simple photograph offers its own special kind of nostalgia. More than 30 years after the finale, the familiar faces of Abby, Karen and Patricia are still capable of bringing the Knots Landing era back to life.
