It’ll be months until the Bridgerton cast starts promoting Season 4, but we’ll happily accept a mini reunion in the meantime.
Jonathan Bailey and Hannah Dodd, who play siblings Anthony and Francesca, sat next to each other during a London Fashion Week show on Monday, September 22. In a new video, they proved their bond exists well beyond the screen.
In the now-viral TikTok clip, the British Vogue interviewer says that singer Olivia Dean wants to know what their favorite biscuit is. The actors, arms linked, glance at each other before Dodd gives her answer. “I’ve just got obsessed with chocolate-covered custard creams from Marks & Spencer,” she said, looking to her costar. “It’s the bougiest stuff, but it’s the best thing ever.”
“I didn’t know they existed,” Bailey chimed in. “You have to do it,” Dodd stressed, “It’ll ruin your life.” Bailey agreed to try them out, and he got a laugh out of his onscreen sister when he added, “I’ll trade you for a ginger nut.”
Bridgerton fans flocked to the comments section to remark on their sweet exchange. “They’re so siblings coded,” one user remarked. Another said, “He really did just decide his bridgesibs are his blood siblings and I love that.”
Earlier this summer, Bailey and Dodd wrapped production on Bridgerton Season 4, which focuses on Luke Thompson‘s Benedict Bridgerton. Even though his love story with maid Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha) will take center stage, we can assume based on past seasons that Anthony and Francesca will get some screen time.
We can only hope, however, that Bridgerton delivers some Anthony and Francesca interactions, though we know that the latter was planning on leaving for the Scottish countryside at the end of Season 3. Remember in Episode 1 when Anthony covers for Francesca when she needs a break from the ball? Adorable.
