Internet In Tears After Michigan German Shepherd’s Reaction To Feeling A Baby Kick For The First Time

We know them as fierce police dogs, military and service K9s, and sharp, intelligent, highly responsible watchdogs, but the truth is: German Shepherds have always been much more than that.

Once you meet one, you know they’re not just there to serve and protect. They are capable of love, understanding, and sharing emotions like you wouldn’t believe. And, their intuition? It’s from another world!

Storm, a black long-haired German Shepherd from Michigan, has proven this in the most unique, wonderful way. He slowly approached his pregnant momma for some cuddles when, all of a sudden, he felt a baby kick for the first time.

In no time, his adorable reaction took the internet by storm!

Taylor Rodriguez and her husband recently found out that they are expecting a baby girl. Naturally, they couldn’t be happier and wanted to share their excitement with everyone, including their three German Shepherds.

They started preparing their home for the baby’s arrival, including installing a crib, painting the walls, and getting adorable bandanas for their dogs, saying “big brother” and “big sister.”

However, their male GSD, Storm, seemed to be ahead of everyone else.

Whenever he approached Taylor, he seemed to be gentler than usual, which made the couple guess he already knew what was happening. However, his recent reaction to feeling a baby kick for the first time confirmed it: not only did Storm know, he was already in big brother mode!

He slowly rested his head on Taylor’s belly, and when he felt the baby move, he lifted his head and started licking it affectionately.

Taylor, who was already recording his reaction, couldn’t contain her joy.

“He melts my heart. Such a special moment,” Taylor says in the video.

She decided to share Storm’s video with her followers on TikTok. Little did she know that his heartwarming reaction would gain so many views in such a short amount of time.

According to the comments, many people had similar experiences with their dogs, showing how truly intuitive these four-legged creatures are.

“I feel like dogs have a sense of gentleness when it comes to babies,” one commenter wrote under the video.

“My husband’s German shepherd wanted nothing to do with me until I got pregnant. That was the first time she climbed in bed with me and always laid her head on my belly. Now she’s my bestie,” another shared their experience.

One thing is for sure: once the baby girl is born, she will be surrounded by the most amazing pack!

There’s no doubt Storm and his two GSD sisters will make incredible siblings, leading their hooman sister through life with nothing but love and affection.

For now, the Michigan trio, alongside their owners, will continue prepping for the arrival of their newest family member. Once the baby is here, I can’t wait for the sweetest, furry-filled updates!
