MEGAN Thee Stallion broke a major Met Gala rule in order to give fans a rare look inside the iconic event.
The Met Gala takes place on the first Monday in May each year, and is hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour – who chooses who to invite and decides on the event’s rules.

For years, the high profile event has been plagued with speculation around the rules the gala has in place.
One of these rules is the Met Gala’s “no-phone policy”.
There are photos aplenty from the red carpet, but from inside the event? None.
It’s a secret what happens at the Met Gala, and no one really knows what goes on once the celebrities are inside.
Because what happens at the Met is a secret, no phones are ever allowed.
Some celebrities break the rules occasionally, and this year, Megan Thee Stallion is among the famous faces to have used her phone – and social media – while at the event.
Famous rapper Megan made no secret of her Met Gala rule break on Monday when she took to her Instagram stories to share some videos from around a table.
Sitting with Doechii and Angel Reese, the trio could be seen trying caviar.
INSIDE THE MET GALA
“Cornbread and caviar,” Megan explained as they all tucked into the food.
She then said: “A white truffle lobster roll,” as the women all took a bite.

Megan continued to talk viewers through what they were eating as each of the women gave their verdicts.
Reacting to the video, which was uploaded to Reddit, many fans were quick to touch on how Megan had broken the rules – completely disregarding the content of the clips.
“OMG it’s fun to see inside but I think Anna will get mad and never invite Megan again,” said one person about Megan’s video.
Another asked: “Wait i thought they take your phones at the door as part of their no-phone policy?”
To which someone replied: “Megan said that she took the sticker off her phone.”
Others swooned over how much fun they were having.
One person wrote: “This is a fun table.”
While another said: “They’re so freaking ADORABLE!!!!”
SPECULATED RUMORS
Megan’s rule break comes after a speculated rule rumor was put to bed.
It had long been rumored that Anna had to approve every single guest’s outfit – but this rumor has now been put to bed.
Anna denied the rife speculation in an interview with Good Morning America this week.
In the interview, Michael Strahan asked her point-blank if attendees needed her approval before they arrived on the carpet.
“No,” she replied with a laugh.
“Many call and ask for our advice, so we try and help some of them as best we can. Some, I have no idea.”
