RICHARD Madeley has been pictured with his arm in a cast after falling over on some ice and breaking it this week.
The TV star, 60, was supported by his wife Judy Finnigan as he enjoyed a stroll in Hampstead this weekend, cutting a glum figure as he kept his arm pinned up in a sling.
Wearing a glove on one hand, Richard’s heavily plastered arm was held up across his chest, and he covered up with a coat slung over his shoulders on the walk.
Meanwhile Judy dressed down in Ugg boots and a coat, as she walked next to her husband, no doubt keen to keep him upright this time round.
Opening up about his nasty fall, Richard shared a snap on Twitter of the cast and wrote: “They say there’s a 1st time for everything.So today I broke my arm falling on ice!Went down hard+smashed it!Op tomoz. ‘Sigh’….
“Ta all for good wishes. Worse things happen. Just incredibly inconvenient.”
He added: “Lucky it was the left one and weirdly it’s still pretty functional.But as Lennon said: ‘Life’s what happens when you’re making other plans’.”
Alongside the snap, he wrote: “My personal ‘snap’ of the day. Titanium plates await!”
Meanwhile his super-fit daughter Chloe proved she was niggle-free and hitting the gym hard in her stark contrast gym selfie.
Richard, husband of fellow TV host Judy Finnigan, may well be needing the support of his wife and PT daughter after he endured the mishap while falling on ice.
His fans were quick to offer messages of support with one writing: “Oh no! I had that happen once. HUGS”
Another added: “Oh no Richard I hope you’re ok – please rest up!” while another added: “Oh bless ya you look pale good luck lovely.”
A witty fan quipped: “Ouch! Your hair looks good though.”
Meanwhile Richard’s super toned daughter was flexing her impressive biceps on her social media.
Fitness fanatic Chloe may well be called on when Richard needs rehab for his arm.
Yet now she’s more focused on her own strength.
Chloe stripped to her pink gym bra and leggings to upload an impressive selfie of her defined arms and toned tummy, telling her fans she was “flexin.”
She commented: “This is me flexin. I don’t think I look remotely muscly unflexed I mean I HOPE I do, but I highly doubt it.”
The star went on to explain the perils of her gym pants riding up her legs and her lack of a thigh gap.
