If there is one thing we can count on Britney Spears sharing, it’s her opinion posted on Instagram… and this Sunday’s Super Bowl Halftime performance was no exception.

The superstar was eager to share her take on the star-studded Halftime show, specifically to gush over Eminem’s explosive appearance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Brit took to Instagram to share a clip of her favorite part of the show and wrote, “Wow !!! @Eminem last night at the Super Bowl … he should have had way more time …” In the video we see Eminem giving an electrified rendition of his 2002 hit, “Lose Yourself.”
Spears continued, “He was everything to me when I was younger and it was so weird in the first two seconds I saw him on stage last night I felt like I was 17 again !!! It’s honestly kinda scary how certain artists and music can do that … we are so lucky to live in a world where music can give us hope … identity … acceptance …and love.”
In the comments section, Spears’ fiancé, Sam Asghari, was quick to agree with her adoration for Slim Shady and chimed in with a “Mom’s spaghetti” comment, including the pasta emoji.

For Spears, her connection to Eminem and the halftime show likely goes way beyond her love for the Detroit-grown rapper. 21 years ago the Pop icon herself took to the Super Bowl XXXV Halftime stage as a surprise guest to perform a Britney-fied version of “Walk This Way” alongside Aerosmith, *NSYNC, Nelly and Mary J. Blige. During Blige’s mind-blowing Super Bowl LVI performance, the living legend performed her hits “Family Affair” and “No More Drama” before handing the reigns over to rap star and Los Angelino, Kendrick Lamar.
Earlier this week, Spears had her fans going wild after posting a teaser related to her potential return to music. Brit posted a dance video set to her Blackout-era beloved track, “Get Naked (I Got a Plan).”
