Queen Latifah may have a difficult decision to make after Team Adam’s Dakota Cohen and Destinee Monroe delivered a powerful performance of Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life on The Voice Season 30.
A sneak peek of Monday’s Battle Rounds shows the two singers going head-to-head on the rock hit, earning praise from all four coaches. With Queen being the only coach who still has a Steal available, their performance could give her a final chance to add another artist to her team before Cut Week.
Queen was visibly impressed by the duet, praising both singers for their vocals and stage presence.

“That’s what I’m talking about! That’s what I’m talking about! I’m in my chair throwing my hair around,” she said. “That was incredible. What y’all just did with it was really perform the hell out of it. You embodied the song, you rocked with each other, you nailed all the notes and then some, so this is going to be a tricky one. It’s going to be a hard one. I want to see more of this as the show goes on.”
Riley Green also struggled to imagine choosing one singer over the other. He pointed to the crowd’s reaction and praised the different strengths Dakota and Destinee brought to the performance.

“The reaction of the crowd tells you everything. That was one of the most powerful performances we’ve seen,” Riley said. He highlighted Dakota’s impressive vocal moments before comparing Destinee’s stage presence to that of a rock star performing in front of 20,000 people.
“I don’t know how you pick. Good luck, Adam,” Riley added.
Adam Levine was less than thrilled with the advice. “Cool. Thanks. Super, super, super helpful,” he responded sarcastically.
Riley fired back, “Adam, what do you want from me? It’s not my job to pick. Turn his chair around!”
Kelly Clarkson was equally impressed, although she admitted she leaned slightly toward Dakota. She praised Destinee’s commanding presence from the first verse, while describing Dakota’s approach as more tender before the song’s powerful chorus.
“You both can sing your tails off,” Kelly said. “I think I lean a little bit more Dakota, but Destiny, heeey.”

When it was Adam’s turn to offer feedback, he praised Dakota’s distinctive style and vocal power, comparing part of his voice to Miley Cyrus. He described Destinee’s voice as having “unadulterated power,” calling it a superpower and one of her biggest strengths.
Kelly then pointed out how difficult the decision would be for her if she still had a Steal available.
“If I had a Steal, it wouldn’t matter who he chose. I would take the other,” she said. “You guys did such a great job.”

Adam agreed that both singers had delivered something special, telling them, “You guys did incredible. There won’t be anybody like you guys on any other team.”
With both artists earning strong praise, the final decision rests with Adam. However, Queen’s remaining Steal could change the outcome for the singer who does not advance.
Will Queen use her last Steal to keep one of the singers in the competition, or will one of them have to leave the show? Viewers can find out when The Voice Season 30 continues Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The episode will be available to stream on Peacock the following day.
