Prince Harry has shared a positive update about Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet after security concerns forced the family to rethink their children’s new school.
During a TV interview in Toronto after completing a charity skydive, the Duke of Sussex said his two children are now “happy in school.” The update came as Harry spoke about returning to the UK and his work with the Invictus Games.
“The kids are happy in school and it gives me a chance to really focus on Invictus in Birmingham,” Harry told Canadian broadcaster CTV, according to ITV News.

Archie and Lilibet had a difficult start
The update comes about a month after Harry and Meghan Markle moved their family from California to the UK on August 26 in search of a new start.
However, their children’s school plans quickly changed after Archie and Lilibet initially attended a school for only two days.

Security concerns surrounding their daily journey reportedly led the family to pull the children out and make other arrangements. Harry and Meghan’s security team was said to have raised concerns about the route, traffic, and the practical details of getting the children safely to and from school.
A spokesperson for the couple stressed that the decision was not a criticism of the school or its staff.

“The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements,” the spokesperson told Hello.
The family also praised the teachers and staff for the care they had given Archie and Lilibet.
The Sussexes reportedly loved the first school

A friend of Harry and Meghan said the decision was difficult because the children had quickly grown attached to the school.
“It’s a real shame, because they absolutely adored the school, the kids and their parents,” the friend said.
According to the friend, the school had been a great fit for the children and they had enjoyed their time there. However, the family ultimately decided that security had to come first.
Harry’s latest comments suggest the move has now worked out well for Archie and Lilibet. With the children settled into their new school, Harry said he can also focus more fully on his Invictus work in Birmingham.
He also described being back in the UK as “great,” marking another step in the family’s new chapter.
