Alabama singer Caroline Alexis is looking ahead after her journey on The Voice Season 30 came to an end. The 25-year-old Team Riley artist shared an emotional message on Instagram following her elimination, thanking the show and coach Riley Green for giving her the chance to pursue a dream she had carried for years.
“It feels like there aren’t enough words in the world to express how grateful I am for @nbcthevoice and @rileyduckman for giving me the opportunity to pursue the dream that’s lived in my heart for so long,” Alexis wrote.

She added that she gained more from the experience than she could have imagined and described being part of Team Riley as an honor. Rather than letting the elimination define her, Alexis encouraged herself to keep moving forward and remain open to new opportunities.
“When one door closes, it’s up to us to keep moving forward or else we’ll never find the next open door that’s waiting just around the corner,” she continued.
Alexis also thanked fans for supporting her journey and said she was excited to keep cheering for the artists she met during the competition, many of whom she now considers lifelong friends. Her heartfelt post quickly drew an outpouring of love from friends, supporters, and viewers who had followed her performances.
“So proud to know you,” one person commented, while another wrote, “Inspiring all those shy girls with big dreams!!! Be so proud of yourself.”

Other fans praised her talent and encouraged her to keep pursuing music. “What a gracious post! I’m so glad to have discovered you and your beautiful voice, and I can’t wait to follow along on your journey! You’re a star!” one supporter shared.
Some viewers also expressed disappointment over her elimination, with one writing, “Seems wrong that you weren’t chosen. Other judges seemed shocked. Best of luck in the future. You’ll do very well!”

Alexis’ elimination followed an emotional Battle Round performance with fellow Team Riley artist Everett Bounds, 23, who she had also begun dating after they met backstage before the Blind Auditions.
The pair performed Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s country classic Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man, bringing their chemistry and traditional country sound to the stage. Before the performance, Alexis revealed that Bounds had surprised her with flowers and a handwritten note before asking her to dinner.
“When I first saw Caroline, I thought, ‘Holy moly!’ because she is just so beautiful,” Bounds said. Alexis also praised his supportive nature, explaining that his encouragement was a quality she valued in both a person and a Battle partner.
Their performance impressed the coaches, with Kelly Clarkson calling it a “throwback” and saying she loved it. However, Green ultimately chose Bounds to advance, explaining that his natural fit for upbeat, traditional country music made him the right choice for his team.
Although Alexis’ time on the competition ended sooner than she may have hoped, her Instagram message showed gratitude rather than bitterness. The singer is already looking toward what comes next, while fans continue to remind her that her journey in music is far from over.
