After surprising audiences with his provocative scenes in Dirty Grandpa, Zac Efron made it clear that he’s not ruling out going even further for the right project.
The Baywatch star has never been shy about showing off his physique on screen, and in an interview with Elle, he admitted he’d be open to full nudity if the role truly called for it.
“I’m not opposed to anything,” Efron said, suggesting he’s willing to fully commit if the project is worth it.

“But if you’re going to bare it all on screen,” Efron joked, “it better be for an Academy Award-winning movie.”
Consider that a challenge for Hollywood filmmakers.
The actor has already proven he’s willing to push boundaries. Back in 2014’s That Awkward Moment, Efron filmed a memorable full-frontal scene in which his character ends up awkwardly sprawled across a toilet. More recently, his Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates co-star Adam Devine even playfully joked about Efron’s anatomy in interviews, adding to the actor’s reputation for being comfortable with bold on-screen moments.

Elsewhere in the candid interview, the former High School Musical star reflected on how sobriety transformed his life following his well-documented struggles with alcohol and drug addiction.
Efron explained that getting sober gave him a sense of structure and helped him break unhealthy habits. He admitted there was a time when he would wake up and immediately search for himself online, but that mindset disappeared years ago after realizing that constantly viewing himself through other people’s eyes was keeping him from fully living his own life.
The actor also revealed that he stepped away from many of the hobbies he once enjoyed because he worried about being followed by photographers wherever he went.
