The Incredible Bulk: Zac’s Transformation
Before we get to that kiss, let’s address the elephant – or should we say, the beefcake – in the room.
Zac Efron has undergone a transformation so dramatic, it’s like he went to sleep as a Disney prince and woke up as a Greek god.
The twink we knew and loved has metamorphosed into a muscle-bound Adonis that has us all questioning our life choices and gym memberships.
In recent years, Zac has packed on muscle like he’s preparing for a one-man show of The Incredible Hulk: The Musical.
His jawline has become so chiseled it could probably cut glass, and those abs? Let’s just say you could grate cheese on them – not that we’ve thought about that… much.
This physical evolution reached new heights (and widths) during the filming of his 2023 wrestling biopic, The Iron Claw, where he’s playing none other than the Von Erich brothers.
That film had the internet in a collective meltdown. Gone was the lean surfer boy from Baywatch; in his place stood a man who looked like he could bench press a small car – and probably has.
Kissing ‘The Rock’ Is… Awesome
OK, we know why you’re here. Back in 2017, a leaner (but still dreamy) Zac was making waves in Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson (“The Rock”).
It was during this time, on The Late Late Show with James Corden, that he gave us that tantalizing tidbit about kissing his co-star:
“To be completely honest, kissing a dude is weird at first, but he was a bit like a ‘Winter Fresh’ commercial, like cherry chapstick.
It was like, ‘He’s good at that too?!’ He’s just the best at everything. It was an awesome kiss.”
