Asha Banks and Matthew Broome reprise their roles as Noah and Nick in Your Fault: London, now streaming on Prime Video. The film serves as the second installment in the English-language adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Culpables trilogy. Although the couple begins the story stronger than ever, the distance between them soon creates tension as Noah settles into life at Oxford while Nick throws himself into working for his father. Keeping their secret romance as step-siblings hidden from their family only adds to the pressure, and before long, cracks begin to appear.

One scene, in particular, has completely taken over social media, with fans endlessly sharing clips and edits. After Noah ignores his calls, Nick unexpectedly arrives at Oxford, frustrated that she never heard from him after he failed to call the previous night as promised. The confrontation quickly turns into an emotionally charged argument fueled by jealousy, culminating in Nick telling her, “You’re mine.”

Noah immediately pushes back, replying, “You don’t own me.”

Nick softens his words but not his feelings, responding, “I know I don’t own you, but you’re still mine.” The intense exchange soon gives way to one of the film’s most passionate moments. Later, when Noah notices the hickey left on her neck, she playfully writes “You’re Mine” across Nick’s wrist.

Reflecting on the sequence, Banks told Yahoo Canada that the emotional confrontation and the intimate scene that follows are inseparable because together they reveal the full complexity of Noah and Nick’s relationship. After their explosive fight, viewers immediately see another side of the couple—one filled with affection, tenderness, humor, and the deep love they genuinely share.

Banks also revealed that filming the sequence was one of her favorite experiences despite the challenging circumstances. The scene was shot late in a long day with very little time available, but much like the memorable fire scene from the first film, a large portion evolved naturally through improvisation. While the actors knew where the scene needed to end emotionally, they were free to discover the journey together, making the final result feel especially authentic.

Broome agreed, explaining that those moments come so naturally because of the genuine friendship and trust he shares with Banks off-screen. According to him, that real connection allows them to bring emotional honesty to scenes like this.

For Broome, the power of the “You’re mine” moment—and the emotional payoff later in the film—comes from Nick’s personal growth. He sees Nick as someone who sincerely wants to do the right thing, yet constantly struggles beneath the enormous pressure of trying to live up to his father’s expectations.

Broome explained that Nick desperately tries to keep everyone happy and avoid conflict, but in doing so, he often creates even bigger problems. In his mind, he’s constantly juggling multiple responsibilities at once instead of slowing down and addressing them one at a time.

He added that Nick enters the sequel believing he can completely reinvent himself overnight and finally stay on the straight and narrow. But carrying that expectation all at once proves overwhelming, and eventually the pressure becomes too much, causing everything he’s worked so hard to maintain to fall apart.

Posh Spice costume: ‘The sweatiest I’ve ever been in my life’

One of the standout moments in Your Fault: London comes during the film’s colorful ’90s-themed party, where Noah channels Victoria Beckham’s iconic Posh Spice look. She’s joined by Jenna (Enva Lewis) dressed as Scary Spice, Briar (Scarlett Rayner) as Ginger Spice, while Michael (Joel Nankervis) completes the group by showing up as David Beckham.

Although Noah’s Posh Spice outfit looks effortlessly stylish on screen, Banks admitted it was far less glamorous behind the scenes.

The actress said she was thrilled to wear the signature wig at first, but the excitement quickly faded once filming began. According to Banks, the wig became uncomfortable after hours on set, while the fitted leather costume, which had seemed perfect during a brief fitting, turned into a challenge after spending several days filming in it. By the end, she joked it was the sweatiest she’d ever been in her life.
