Heated Rivalry has the Internet ablaze, and fans keep talking about certain especially hot scenes and intimate moments between Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.
One scene that got a lot of love in particular is from Episode 2, as Shane and Ilya kiss in a stairwell.
In a new interview, creator Jacob Tierney was asked about that moment, and revealed that the intimacy coordinator asked a question about it as it was being filmed.
“A lot has been said about the graphic sex scenes, but one of my favorite Shane and Ilya moments is the stairwell scene from Episode 2 when Ilya is about to leave. It’s one of the first moments where you see how sweet and domestic they are,” Gold Derby noted.
“I remember being at the monitor and my intimacy coordinator and producer were like, ‘Is that kiss too sweet?’” Jacob revealed.
“I remember just being like, ‘I don’t care. It’s so good. It’s sweet. I want it to exist,’” he went on to say.
“It wasn’t scripted that way, but at the same time it was Episode 2 so there had to be hesitation,” Jacob went on to reveal.
“But I was like, ‘I love it. I just want to watch them kiss each other.’ When Ilya takes his hoodie [from Shane], they just had it.”
