Tom Hardy casts off his clothes and goes skinny dipping in the freezing cold waters of Siberia in a video for a new Discovery series.
The Dark Knight Rises actor cheers as he dives into an icy puddle along with Formula 1 star Mika Salo, his companion on Driven to Extremes, which sees the pair drive along the world’s coldest road.
Despite clearly feeling exhilarated after his skinny dipping, Hardy is immediately led across the snow and into a car to heat up as he is “on the brink of a medical emergency”.
Salo said of the swim: “When I came in the car I couldn’t feel my feet. It felt like somebody was pushing knives into the bottom of my feet.
“They were tingling like hell, but I feel…like I could run around in bikinis out there.”
Later on the show, Hardy strips off again to get his “arse beaten” with bushes for a special massage, before having a sauna session with a “big, sweaty, sexy” plus-size male companion.
Driven to Extremes will also feature Man of Steel star Henry Cavill and Adrien Brody journeying on treacherous roads in China and Malaysia respectfully.
The show, which is produced by Shell Helix, premieres on the Discovery Channel on Sunday, March 17 at 9pm.
