STRICTLY Come Dancing star Adam Peaty poked fun at his fake tan fail as he got back into the pool.
The Olympic gold medal winner, 26, posted a selfie showing him poolside complete with a glowing chest contrasted to his rather pasty legs.
Adam, wearing a tiny pair of black Speedos, stared down at his thighs comically in the shot, which also served to reveal his impressive figure.
Taking to Twitter, he quipped: “I should’ve probably got my legs spray tanned too.
“Completely forgot my actual job requires me to be almost naked.”
Fans were quick to respond, as one joked: “And for that, Adam, we are eternally thankful.”
Another added: “Brilliant! This is most women on a weekend night out! Only fake tan the parts on show.”
One then commented: “Once your in water, we only see the tanned half,” as another replied: “Epic fail – but I’m loving the photo.”
A Strictly fan then rounded off: “Love this.”
The swimmer’s sexy Samba on Saturday saw him flash his freshly tanned arms in a tight white T-Shirt as he thrusted his way through the routine.
The sexy display came after fans speculated he and professional partner Katya Jones, 32, “almost kissed” during an awkward moment during their Argentine Tango a week prior.
This led Adam to promptly hit out at the speculation.
Sharing footage of his performance on Twitter, Adam said: “My favourite dance so far. Thank you to everyone who has sent supporting messages! I loved it.
“To everyone who wants to see what they want, your comments have real life consequences.
“I will not be overcome or lowered by your gossip. Protect your energy.”
Adam – who is in a relationship with artist Eirianedd Munro – also posted a cryptic Instagram message about “real ones”.
The dad-of-one, who has been with Eiri for less than two years, wrote to his 570k followers on his Instagram Story: “You soon realise who the real ones are.”
Eirianedd, 23, also addressed the situation on social media.
Just hours before their dance, Eiri – who Adam shares 13-month-old George-Anderson with – had insisted she’s “not worried” in a cryptic Instagram post.
Meanwhile Strictly’s Katya has been hit with a frank warning from Eiri over getting close to her man, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
Eiri posted a tongue-in-cheek TikTok video teasing swim champ Adam, “If I see you with another girl I’ll kill her” — while she ran her thumb across her throat.
She included with the clip a caption quipping: “I could do with some acting lessons.”
