OUTLANDER fans have long enjoyed Sam Heughan getting his kit off on the hit show.
But there’s one person who, understandably, is a bit uncomfortable with the steamy scenes.
The Scots star, 40, revealed his mum is a huge fan of the show but fast forwards through all of his intimate moments with co-star Caitriona Balfe.
The Starz period drama features Caitriona as World War II nurse, Claire, who accidentally travels back in time during a trip to Scotland and begins a relationship with Sam’s character, 18th-century highlander Jamie Fraser.
The couple quickly spark up a racy relationship with no shortage of risqué scenes.
Speaking about his mum’s reaction on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Sam said: “When I grew up we had a black and white television, one of those ones you had to turn the dial to tune in.
“She refused to buy a new one till I left home to go to university at which point she’d bought a 4k, high definition colour screen TV to catch all her movies and things.
“She’s very proud of the show but I think she probably does fast forward most of those scenes.”
Filming for season six of the hit show is currently underway in Scotland, with fans hoping ‘droughtlander’ will be over soon.
