Having starred in a show involving vampires, werewolves and ghosts you’d think Aidan Turner’s scariest moment would involve something of the supernatural variety – but it doesn’t.

The actor, who starred in Being Human from 2009-11, answered fans’ questions at the MCM London Comic Con panel and was frank about his time on the show.

Asked what was his most scary or unsettling scene on the BBC Three hit, he said it was one involving a porn actor.

“There was a guy having sex and it was in the bedroom in our house,” he said.

“He’s having sex with a girl and through the video tape you can’t see her because she’s a vampire.

“So on the day we had this guy who’s actually a porn actor and he had to come in and simulate sex with himself on the bed.

“That’s one of the most scary days for me,” he confessed.

Aidan Turner was joined by Russell Tovey and Leonora Crichlow at the con, which runs until Sunday at the Excel Centre.

The Poldark hunk has been linked recently to rumours surrounding James Bond and Doctor Who, but remained tight lipped on both possibilities.
