Outlander star Sam Heughan seemingly put an end to speculation about his mysterious love life when he stepped out with a date today.
The 44-year-old Scottish actor was pictured holding hands with a mystery woman as they walked through London. The duo appeared to have spent the afternoon in the Soho neighborhood, enjoying a Wednesday afternoon stroll.
Fans of the series Outlander have long wondered about Heughan’s love life, which he generally keeps private. Despite having an incredibly romantic marriage to Catriona Balfe’s character, Claire, in the series, Heughan has never married and has been linked to few women in the public eye.
During the first several seasons of the show, Heughan and Balfe were frequently romantically linked, but insisted they were simply close friends.
In an interview with People Magazine in May 2023, Heughan opened up about his search for love saying: “I’ve done all of the gift-giving and turning up when least expected, but, so far, I’m still looking.” So far, little is known about the identity of the mysterious woman.
The eighth and final season of Outlander is expected to air in late 2024, but a prequel to the beloved show is already in the works.
