OUTLANDER’S Sam Heughan has revealed that he “loves wearing a corset”.

The Scots hunk was joking with co-star Caitriona Balfe about possible role swaps on the show.

The Irish actress responded to a fan who loved her impression of Sam.

She said: “What ya’ll don’t know is that when Sam is off sick, I regularly don the wig, do the voice and be Jamie !!!

“(Same applies for him with Claire!!) right @SamHeughan !?!”

And Sam was quick to respond, sharing her tweet.

He said: “I LOVE wearing the corset!!!”

Fans loved the banter between the two stars, with Sam’s post racking up thousands of likes and shares.

One said: “I think Halloween coming up would be a great time for you two to dress up as each other’s characters”

Meanwhile another posted: “We need proof.”

And one avid fan wrote: “OMG yess”

We told you earlier how the Outlander creator has hinted that a new spin-off from the show could be coming – featuring a love rival of Sam’s Jamie.

Diana Gabaldon was answering questions from fans on Twitter when she made the reveal.

One viewer quizzed the scribe about a possible series following the character John Grey – who features in both the TV series and the books.

Played David Berry on the screen, the English soldier is the main character for his own novels too.

A fan asked Diana on Twitter: “any chance of a John Grey spin off?”

While the writer stopped short of confirming the series, she did hint that there might be a future.
