Matthew Broome and Asha Banks, the stars of Your Fault: London, have reflected on how Nick and Noah’s relationship evolves in the sequel, explaining that the couple’s bond feels very different from where audiences first met them.

Adapted from Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Culpables trilogy, Your Fault: London takes place one year after the events of My Fault: London. The story follows Nick and Noah as they try to maintain their relationship while dealing with family pressures, personal growth, and the complications that come with young love.

Looking back on returning to his role, Broome said he was excited to portray a couple who had already spent a year together, allowing viewers to see a more mature stage of their relationship.

He explained that Nick and Noah now understand each other far better than they did in the first film, making their interactions feel more natural and emotionally layered.

Banks noted that revisiting the characters made her realize how little dialogue Nick and Noah actually shared in the original movie. She said much of the first installment relied on lingering glances, growing attraction, and unspoken emotions rather than extended conversations.

When filming the sequel, she joked that the cast suddenly realized the characters finally had to spend time actually talking to each other.

Even though Nick and Noah’s connection is much stronger in the sequel, both actors admitted many of the story’s biggest conflicts could have been avoided with a simple, honest conversation.

Banks laughed that she and Broome often joked on set that if either character had simply spoken their mind at the right moment, the entire plot would have been resolved almost immediately.

Broome agreed with the observation before adding with a smile that, of course, if the characters communicated that well, there wouldn’t have been much of a movie left to tell.
