John Stamos had fans saying, “Have mercy,” after sharing a cheeky birthday tribute dedicated to Glen Powell.
The Full House star posted a series of playful, skin-baring photos on Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate Powell’s 37th birthday, giving followers plenty to talk about.
“Happy Birthday @glenpowell, the man who’s seen me naked more times than I’d like to admit,” Stamos, 62, joked in the caption accompanying the fun-filled photo collection.
“Love you, buddy!” Stamos added. “Steam room date soon? xo JS.”
The first photo in the Instagram carousel showed Stamos and Powell strolling down the street wearing nothing but sandals, strategically covering themselves with a skateboard and a stack of shopping bags.
The fun continued in the next snap, where the pair were joined by Taylor Lautner, with all three smiling together while standing in a row of showers.
The photo collection wrapped up with two more snapshots of Stamos and Powell relaxing in a steam room. In one image, the pair kept things covered with towels, while in the next they swapped them for matching black shorts.
Lautner, 33, couldn’t resist joining the fun, commenting simply, “The best.”
Fans flooded the comments with praise, with one joking that the post felt “more like a happy birthday to us.” Others quoted Stamos’ iconic Full House character Jesse Katsopolis by repeating his famous catchphrase: “Have mercy.”
The “Grandfathered” alum has a history of celebrating his own birthday sans clothes.
When Stamos turned 54 in 2017, he shared a cheeky photo of himself taking an outdoor shower among palm fronds.
“54 and clean,” he wrote at the time.
Stamos has never shied away from poking fun at himself. Six years later, he celebrated his 60th birthday by sharing another cheeky shower photo, this time captured by his wife, Caitlin McHugh.
“The other side of 60,” he wrote alongside the playful snapshot, which showed him modestly covering himself with one hand.
Stamos and McHugh, 39, have been married since February 2018 and are parents to their 7-year-old son, Billy.
