THE HANDMAID’S TALE fans know by now that June Osborne is only in Gilead still because she hasn’t managed to save her daughter yet. But, many believe they know exactly who will rescue the little girl, and it won’t be either of her parents.
June Osborne (played by Elisabeth Moss) might have been shot after getting 52 Gilead children over the border to Canada at the end of season three. But, she wasn’t able to find the one that meant the most, Hannah (Jordana Blake). And so, as season four fast approaches, June’s main priority will be finding Hannah and leaving Gilead. However, one fan believes it will, in fact, be Nick Blaine (Max Minghella) who will save Hannah, all for June.
“There’s a deleted scene from season 3 of Nick in Chicago with Hannah’s commander,” A fan recently explained.
“I expect that scene to be inserted somewhere in season 4.
“I think Nick’s going to get Hannah out so that June will finally leave Gilead.
“I’m interested in how Nick and Luke will relate when that day comes.

“Nick introduced himself to Luke as June’s friend to give him the smuggled Handmaid’s letters, and June tells Luke the truth in the tape that Serena smuggled to him in Canada,” the fan added.
Another replied: “Nick and June have an almost Shakespearean relationship because they want a relationship, but the stars just aren’t aligned.
“They do seem to love each other and you can see this during the Prayvaganza when they touch hands for a moment.
“I think the reason June doesn’t ask about him is because she has other, more important, goals on her mind.

“Why waste a question on Nick when she could ask about her daughter?” they added to a post on Reddit.
But, if it is a romance with some cosmic dynamic to it, then, of course, Nick would want to do anything he could to save Hannah.
Nick has known since day one, all June wants is Hannah back so they can leave.
The driver is meant to be in Chicago after he was promoted to be a commander.
So, what if Nick didn’t go to Chicago and he has been working on a way to get Hannah back
The Handmaid’s Tale writers still haven’t delved into Nick’s past and what he is really like underneath it all.
But, fans are pretty sure he would be willing to die for June.
Maybe Nick could get someone else to do the dirty work, send men in to get rid of Hannah’s foster parents in the middle of the night and take her to wherever June is hiding.
Surely, this would cement Nick and June’s future together if he made such a big sacrifice for her.
Or, has it always only been about Hannah?
June could in theory throw Nick to the pavement once she is reunited with Hannah.
Fans are hoping for a happily ever after, even if that does mean coming face to face with poor Luke Bankole (O-T Fagbenle) once they get back over the border to Canada.
