House of Guinness, a historical drama on Netflix, was created by the mastermind behind Peaky Blinders, Steven Knight.
The series narrates the true tale of the Guinness siblings as they carry on their father’s brewing business after his demise.
Anthony Boyle, who portrays Arthur Guinness, has shared his experiences filming the series and his anticipation for a potential second season.
He also discussed a specific scene in episode three where he is seen fully nude while exiting a bath.
Viewers took to X, previously known as Twitter, expressing that they were “blindsided” by the scene, and the 31 year old actor has since spoken about filming it.

Although he wasn’t bothered about filming completely naked, he did express one concern about the audience’s reaction after the show’s release.
In an interview with Town and Country, when asked if he found the vast audience of Netflix intimidating, he responded: “Yeah, definitely when I did the naked scene [laughs].
“Definitely when I did that, I was sat in that bath and I was like, ‘Oh wait, it’s gonna be like millions of people’.
“My focus is usually on the other person, less so than what I’m experiencing, but on the day that you’re getting naked, you’re like, ‘Oh god, I hope my f****** granny doesn’t see this!’
“Moments like that happen! But for the most part, I don’t think about the reach of the show, no.”

Taking to X to voice their opinions on the bath scene, Sharon SL posted: “Is no one talking about Arthur’s bath scene? What was that I just saw?”
Stoops remarked: “Did NOT expect to see that in the bath scene, holy hell.”
Discussing the future of the series, Boyle expressed his eagerness to return for a second season if Netflix gives it the go-ahead.
Speaking exclusively to Reach titles at a screening of the series, he stated: “If they want to do a second season, I’d love to. I think the scripts were amazing and I really enjoyed the cast and directors.
“I loved it, I love the end product. It’s a show I’m really proud of and if they wanted to go again I’d be overjoyed.”
