Elvira has something to say to Meghan Markle.

The iconic ’80s actress—whose real name is Cassandra Peterson—directly addressed the Duchess of Sussex in a recent social media post, responding to a quip Markle recently made about Elvira’s famous hair.

In an Instagram post on Friday, May 23, Elvira posted a screenshot of an article published in April, which quoted Markle as having made a joke about looking like Elvira after using box hair dye during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

In the original article, published by Us Weekly, Markle described her box-dyed hair as “this very inky, almost Elvira-esq black hair.”

And Elvira definitely had something to say about that.

In her Instagram post on Friday, the 73-year-old actress wrote, “Hey princess, if you ever need beauty advice from a a queen just let me know 😏.”

Fans in the comments couldn’t help but note the feisty—yet playful—tone in Elvira’s post, with many amused followers taking to the comments to gush over her “iconic” behavior.

“The one true queen ❤️” one user wrote, while another quipped, “Oooooooh Snaaaaaap!”

“A princess can dream,” someone else joked.
