The Buccaneers is officially one step closer to returning, as Season 3 has wrapped filming after production began in February 2026. Stars Kristine Frøseth, Aubri Ibrag, and Josie Totah have celebrated the milestone with behind-the-scenes updates on social media, giving fans a glimpse at the upcoming season.

Apple TV renewed the period drama for a third season in October 2025 following the success of Season 2. While an official premiere date has yet to be announced, the completion of filming suggests that fans are getting closer to seeing the next chapter of the story.
Frøseth, who plays Nan, was among the first stars to tease the beginning of production earlier this year, writing “Back like we never left” as she prepared for another day on set. On August 7, Ibrag and Totah also shared posts confirming that filming had officially wrapped.
The third season will continue following the group of American women navigating love, friendship, and scandal in English society. According to the official storyline, the Buccaneers will reunite and fight for the lives and relationships they want, while the arrival of a mysterious new Duke threatens to shake up Tintagel.

That new character will be played by The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley. He joins the returning cast as Frank, a charming but mysterious stranger whose arrival turns Nan and Mrs. St. George’s lives upside down.

Kristine Frøseth and Christina Hendricks are officially confirmed to return, while behind-the-scenes posts have also teased the involvement of Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah, Imogen Waterhouse, Guy Remmers, Matthew Broome, and Barney Fishwick.
With filming now complete, fans will have to wait for Apple TV to reveal the first official teaser and premiere date. For now, the Season 3 wrap photos offer the latest glimpse at what could be the Buccaneers’ most dramatic chapter yet.
