The Beagle Freedom Project recently shared a video highlighting Mia’s journey after she was rescued from the Envigo breeding facility in 2022. According to the organization, Meghan personally contacted its founder to express interest in adopting Mia, choosing the adult beagle over a puppy.
Soon after, Meghan and Harry visited the rescue and spent time with Mia and her puppies before bringing her home. Four years later, Mia is living happily with the couple and continues to make appearances on Meghan’s social media and lifestyle projects.
Mia recently stole the spotlight again during Meghan’s 45th birthday celebration, appearing alongside Harry and the couple’s other dog, Pula. The rescue beagle has also made cameos on With Love, Meghan and appeared in promotional content for Meghan’s As ever brand.

The Beagle Freedom Project’s tribute serves as a heartwarming reminder of Mia’s journey from a breeding facility to life as a beloved member of the Sussex family.
