Jury Duty has officially secured a third season, proving that its unusual hidden-camera formula can work well beyond the courtroom. After Ronald Gladden became the unsuspecting centerpiece of the first season, the Prime Video comedy expanded its premise in Season 2 with Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, placing Anthony Norman in an entirely different setting.
Now, with another season confirmed, the question is no longer whether the concept can return, but what kind of situation the show will create next.

Season 3 has been renewed
Prime Video renewed Jury Duty for Season 3 in May 2026.
The renewal follows the success of the show’s first two seasons, both of which placed an ordinary person at the center of an elaborate scenario without revealing that nearly everyone around them was part of the production.
Season 1 followed Ronald Gladden, who believed he was participating in a documentary about jury duty. In reality, everyone else involved was an actor, while a series of carefully constructed situations unfolded around him.
Season 2 kept the same basic concept but moved far away from a courtroom. Titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, it followed Anthony Norman, who believed he had taken a temporary position at Rockin’ Grandma’s Hot Sauce as the company’s employees gathered for a retreat during a major leadership transition.
The change in setting demonstrated how flexible the show’s central idea could be.
What could Season 3 look like?
Details about the third season remain limited.
Based on the format established so far, the series is expected to once again place a new “hero” in a carefully controlled environment. The central participant would be unaware that the people surrounding them are actors and that the situations they encounter have been deliberately arranged for the production.
That setup has allowed the show to create comedy from ordinary circumstances rather than relying solely on increasingly elaborate premises.
Season 2 star Wendy Braun has revealed that members of the Company Retreat cast have already discussed possible ideas for another season. One suggestion was to put the participants on a cruise ship, with Braun noting that each season could potentially expand in scale.
The second season itself was considerably larger than the first, moving from the confined setting of jury duty to an entire company campus.
Don’t expect a cruise ship just yet

A cruise ship may sound like a natural next step, but executive producer Anthony King has indicated that the idea is unlikely to become the setting for Season 3.
Speaking via Deadline, King said the cruise ship concept is one he is frequently pitched. However, he believes the appeal of Jury Duty comes partly from placing extraordinary interactions inside deliberately ordinary situations.
For King, the mundane nature of the settings is essential. Jury duty and a company retreat may not initially sound exciting, but those environments give the production room to focus on the relationships, reactions and humanity of the characters.
That philosophy could shape the next season as the series looks for another setting that appears ordinary enough to make its elaborate hidden-camera experiment believable.
For now, Prime Video has confirmed that Jury Duty will return for a third season, but further details about its story, setting and cast have yet to be announced.
