Furious is heading into its season finale with one of its biggest revelations yet: Emma Easton is far more deeply involved in her father Jay’s crimes than previously believed. Meanwhile, Alice’s unresolved trauma pushes her toward a dangerous decision involving Catherine.
Warning: Spoilers ahead for Episode 7, “Some Days It Don’t Come Easy.”

Emma’s Shocking Secret
Following the attack on Alice in Episode 6, Marshall remains in the hospital while corrupt officer Ed takes control of the case. Danny visits Marshall and confronts his mother, who blames Alice for what happened. She also reveals that she encountered Alice as a pre-teen, when Alice had been living on the streets and had lost a baby.
Meanwhile, Nora tells Alice that Ed has effectively ended her career by taking over the investigation. Alice also admits that Catherine once asked whether she wanted Marshall dead, and she told her no. Nora is furious, arguing that Alice’s decision to spare him could hurt their case.
Danny later discovers that Easton family lawyer Hal kept copies of important files and videos. One of them features Alice as a teenager, although Jay Easton is not the man shown in that particular recording. Danny refuses to hand the material over because he wants to protect Alice.

Alice Sends Catherine After Jay
As Alice continues confronting her traumatic past, she reconnects with her sister Amy, who reminds her of the family life Alice no longer feels connected to. Alice was pregnant at 14 and was kicked out of her home by her parents, leaving her with deep resentment toward her family.
Later, Alice and Nora track down Elena, Isabel’s daughter, and eventually find Catherine hiding nearby. With her anger toward Jay Easton reaching a breaking point, Alice makes a drastic choice: she allows Catherine to leave and sends her toward the Easton mansion.
Speaking to TV Insider, Emmy Rossum explained that Alice has spent much of the story believing she cannot obtain justice for herself. Her connection with Catherine gives her a way to confront what happened to her indirectly, while forcing her to face the secrets she has carried for years.

Emma Finally Turns on Her Father
At the Easton home, Emma warns Jay that he needs to be more careful before revealing a hidden room in his office where he meets with young prostitutes. Even more disturbing, Emma is revealed to be the person who brings the girls to him.
When Ed warns the family that Catherine is approaching and tells Emma to destroy anything incriminating, she insists that she already removed everything the previous week.
Emma then turns against her father. After Jay dismisses her and insists nobody can stop him, she pushes him down and refuses to continue protecting his illicit materials.
But the final revelation is even more shocking.
Investigators compare DNA from Isabel Luna’s crime scene with evidence from Caleb Easton’s case. The DNA found beneath Isabel’s fingernails belongs to Caleb’s sibling.
That sibling is Emma.
The episode ends with Catherine sitting outside the Easton mansion, looking at Isabel’s mementos before heading inside.
With the Furious Season Finale arriving August 31 on Hulu, Emma’s secret could completely change the Easton family mystery.
