Love ‘em or hate ‘em, these are a few of our favorite dreamy characters!
Historical romance dramas are known for their swoon-worthy actors, and Outlander delivers in spades. For seven seasons, Outlander has introduced fans to some of the most handsome and charismatic actors on TV. With season 7 returning on November 22, we’re ranking six of the hunkiest stars from the series. Who’s your favorite among these Outlander actors?
Tobias Menzies as Frank Randall

Let us clarify: Frank Randall is the man making this list—NOT Black Jack Randall. Though Tobias Menzies did double duty on this show (and expertly, might we add!), it’s his character of Frank Randall, Claire’s modern-day husband, who makes this list of Outlander hunks. While he isn’t exactly a fan-favorite character, there’s no denying Menzies’ hunk status.
Richard Rankin as Roger Wakefield MacKenzie

Another character who isn’t much of a fan-favorite and has frustrated us more times than we can count over the years, but we’ll still give it to Richard Rankin that he’s an absolute cutie.
Duncan Lacroix as Murtagh Fraser

While Murtagh Fraser might not be the most polished of Outlander men to make this list, he has still certainly earned his hunky status. Murtagh’s bravery, loyalty and strength as a character have made him a fan-favorite for years. His commitment to Jamie as his godfather is a testament to his character—And how can we resist that beard?
Wil Johnson as Joe Abernathy

He’s handsome, he’s funny and he’s a doctor—What more can you really want? While there are a handful of good men amongst the Outlander crew, Joe Abernathy is the cream of the crop. Plus, a bonus that we got to know his hunky face on HBO’s House of the Dragon, too.
David Berry as Lord John Grey

David Berry’s Lord John Grey is a character loved by many and truth be told, he’s as cute as they come! Known by most for just being a downright likable character and all-around good guy, any character that’s loyal to Jamie is a friend of ours.
Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser

Number one on this list should come as no surprise—Jamie Fraser is the book-turned-TV boyfriend we’ve always wanted. He’s by no means perfect, but then again, who is? The fact of the matter is he’s earned his spot at number one for his strength, loyalty, kindness and of course, good looks. Sam Heughan is the best possible candidate we could have picked for Jamie Fraser, and we’ll love his portrayal of the Scotsman forever.
