On Saturday, September 27, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco were married in a ceremony in Montecito, California, surrounded by friends and family.
Amongst their guests were a number of A-list celebrities, including Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin, Paul Rudd, and Martin Short, her music industry friends like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Finneas, SZA, Mark Ronson, and Camila Cabello, and other Hollywood celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Cara Delevingne, Eric André, Zoe Saldaña, and Édgar Ramírez.
Her guest list didn’t just show up to party. When Gomez first announced her engagement in December 2024, her longtime friend Swift volunteered to be her flower girl. Swift ended up having an even bigger responsibility, giving a speech during the reception. There were reportedly also speeches from Sheeran and from Short and Martin during the rehearsal dinner, per a source speaking with People.
“Everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night. The vibe was so much fun,” said the insider. “They were glowing all night, and both Selena and Benny couldn’t stop smiling. There was so much love in the room.”
Swift was seen arriving for the event in photos shared by Page Six on September 26, protected from photographers by a canopy of black umbrellas. On September 27, the Daily Mail reported that Swift was staying at Rosewood Miramar in Montecito for the weekend and that she arrived at the rehearsal dinner in a convoy of SUVs. Her fiancé, Travis Kelce, was unable to attend due to a game in Kansas City the following afternoon—the NFL enforces a curfew the night before games for its members.
