The 45-year-old rapper, real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III , divorced from his ex-wife Kim for the second time in 2006, but told Vulture magazine none of his subsequent relationships have panned out.
Asked if he had used Tinder to find dates when he was looking for love he said, “I mean, yeah” before stating he was serious and had used the app, although he also joked that he’d used its gay equivalent Grindr.
Revealing more about his love life, the single star also confessed, “What can I say? Going to strip clubs is how I was meeting some chicks. It was an interesting time for me.”
However, they remarried in 2006 and despite divorcing for a second time the same year, the hip-hop star says they’re still on good terms.
“I’m not killing Kim on songs anymore – we’re good now, and she’s the mother of my daughter,” he explains.
Now, seemingly more mature, he admits he may have taken the violence in his early tracks, “too far sometimes”.
