Outlander star Sam Heughan shared the one line in the series that he was not a fan of at the panel for the historical fantasy series at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25

Sam Heughan revealed which line of his Outlander character Jamie Fraser was his least favorite.
The historical fantasy series on STARZ had a panel at San Diego Comic-Con in the coveted Hall H stage on Friday, July 25. Along with Sam, the panel included his costars Sophie Skelton (Brianna MacKenzie) and Richard (Roger MacKenzie) as well as showrunner Matthew B. Roberts and executive producer Maril Davis.
During the panel, Sam talked about many things – specifically about the one line that drove him crazy on the show. “There was one time Matt and I fell out, I was floating in a very large bathtub in South Africa, and the line was, ‘If you die, I’ll kill you.’ And I had a real problem with that,” the 45-year-old elaborated.
“I just wanted Matt to explain it to me,” Sam added. Matt chimed in that he did, “over and over again.”

The Scottish native went on to say how Matt and Caitríona Balfe (Claire Beauchamp Randall) were yelling at him to “‘just say the f—ing line.” Sam is referring to the memorable moment in the season three finale episode titled Eye of the Storm, where Jamie rescues Claire after she nearly dies from nearly drowning.
He concluded his response by shouting out the author of Outlander, Diana Gabaldon, for writing such “amazing books.”
The STARZ series is based on the titular book series. There are nine books in the series out so far, and the author has reportedly planned for there to be 10 in total.
The show follows former WWII nurse Claire Randall, who accidentally time-travels from 20th-century Britain to 17th-century Scotland. While in Scotland, she meets and falls in love with a handsome Highland warrior named Jamie Fraser.

The show first premiered in August 2014 and was adapted to screen by Ronald D. Moore. Outlander will be ending with an eight and final season which is expected to be released in early 2026. Many fans at the panel had questions about what’s next for Claire and Jamie especially after the cliffhanger that was the season seven finale.
Season seven of Outlander saw Claire and Jamie make the treacherous journey back to Scotland, where their story began in season one.
Although Outlander is almost coming to a close, the universe got a big bigger with a prequel show Outlander: Blood of My Blood.
The prequel show will be following the parents of both Jamie and Claire. Outlander: Blood of My Blood is premiering on STARZ on August 8.
