Karoline Leavitt has revealed where her music tastes lie, as Donald Trump hits out at Taylor Swift branding her ‘not hot’ in a rant on social media

The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is a Swiftie, despite what her boss Donald Trump might think about the pop star.
Leavitt, who made history as the youngest person to have been appointed to the prestigious role within the White House, has given fans an insight into what music she likes to listen to – and it might not be shared by others in the White House.
The 27-year-old married mom-of-one works closely with President Trump, but it seems she isn’t letting her close working relationship sway her music tastes.
Instead Leavitt has made it clear she’s a fan of the singer’s vocals as she used one of her songs on a social media post.
Leavitt shared an Instagram Story with fans featuring Swift’s track Never Grow Up, as she revealed she was reading bedtime bible stories for her son Niko.

Niko, who’s full name is Nicholas Robert, wasn’t pictured but the tot’s adorable little hands and toes could be seen in the photograph.
The use of the Swift track comes as US President Donald Trump has made his thoughts on the singer clear, publicly branding her ‘not hot’.
Earlier this month he took to his social media site Truth Social, to make comments about the Eras Tour singer. Writing on the site, he shared: “Has anyone noticed that, since I said “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” she’s no longer “HOT?”
Trump’s post comes after a long obvious dislike of the musician, especially after she endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential election as she said Harris “fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”
Endorsing Harris, Swift told the world: “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
Swift also added that her endorsement of Harris came after Trump shared fake AI generated images of Taylor Swift suggesting she endorsed him.
Swift said these posts brought her “to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter.”
In September 2024, Trump wrote on Truth Social “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT”. He then told Fox & Friends that he was “not a Taylor Swift fan.”
The statement was a U-turn from the Republican Party leader, who had previously praised the star. Speaking in the past to Variety, he had praised Taylor Swift’s appearance as he said: “I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented.”
