It looked like Jon Hamm was going to be the next big thing in Taylor Sheridan’s hit series, Landman, but his character was killed off at the end of Season 1. Unlike some superhero and supernatural shows, there was no reviving Monty Miller in Landman Season 2, but he’s certainly expected back in Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2, which will be released on Apple TV in April. It’s unusual during the modern streaming era for shows to have this quick of a turnaround, but with how popular Your Friends & Neighbors Season 1 was, it’s no surprise the streamer pushed for a speedy return.
Your Friends & Neighbors was written and created for TV by Jonathan Tropper, who also wrote the script for Shawn Levy’s new Star Wars movie, Starfighter. Trooper worked with Levy in the past on Netflix’s sci-fi film The Adam Project, which stars Ryan Reynolds. Your Friends & Neighbors is also far from his first time working on TV shows — he previously penned all 30 episodes of the HBO hit Warrior, and he wrote episodes of Jason Momoa’s See.
What Else Does Jon Hamm Have in the Works?

Jon Hamm can also be seen as Paul Marks in another Apple TV series, The Morning Show, which is headlined by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. He’ll lend his voice to a new animated movie coming to theaters this March, Hoppers, which also stars Piper Curda and Dave Franco. Hamm is due to star opposite Maya Hawke and Christoph Waltz in Stephen Frears’ new movie, Wilder & Me, which is expected to begin production soon. Severance star John Turturro will also have a role in the film.
