From the looks of things, season one of The Last of Us might not be the last we see of Bill and Frank. The beloved couple was played by Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett in the first season of the adaptation of the game. And even though Bill’s arc was changed from the game to the show, fans have become enamored with the relationship that blossomed between him and Frank on our screens. Basically, they want more.

Offerman, who played Bill, gave a tease of a possible spin-off when accepting his Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for The Last of Us. When backstage and in front of reporters, Offerman was asked about a spin-off. According to Deadline, he responded with, “It certainly has been pitched. I think we pitched a whole mini-series of a prequel of their lives before they met each other. It could be a musical. We’re not short on ideas.”

Like everything posted on the internet, the reaction was swift. There were plenty of people like myself that are excited at the thought of Bill and Frank getting more screen time. Then there were others that were complaining that they didn’t want to see two dudes playing house for years on end. And my question is…why? Cozy stories are on the rise and considering the current stage of the world, I want to see two dudes playing house and being adorable with each other. Plus, let’s not forget Christmas just passed and all those movies are cozy movies about love.

4. Bill and Frank find all of the board games in their small town and each episode is a dramatic anime style showdown to beat each other. Along the way, they fall in love.
5. Bill and Frank teach each other the things they are good at. Each episode will focus on a different skill and new experiences for both characters. Plus we know Bill is secretly talented and a bunch of them.
