Corey Mylchreest Drops Bombshell on His Future in Queen Charlotte Season 2

Corey Mylchreest Reveals If He'd Return for 'Queen Charlotte' Season 2 (Exclusive)

Corey Mylchreest sat down for an interview on iHeart’s “I’ve Never Said this Before with Tommy DiDario” podcast, and we have two exclusive video clips from the episode!

If you don’t know, the 27-year-old actor is well known for his role as King George in the Netflix-Bridgerton world series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. He also just starred in the Netflix film My Oxford Year and the new series Hostage.

Now, he’s revealing if he’d return for another season of Queen Charlotte, and also responding to some fan castings that has him eyed for a hypothetical Tom Cruise biopic.

About if he would play Tom Cruise after seeing random tweets, Corey shared, “I would absolutely love to do it. I would love to do it. Would sign up immediately after I got over the shock and excitement. I would be there in a heartbeat.”

He was then asked if he’d star in another season of Queen Charlotte. There is no season two confirmed at this time…but fans always have hope!

“I don’t know anything, I haven’t tried to get in contact with anyone and ask about it. It’s something that is definitely out there because people keep asking me! I don’t know why it’s out there. I know as much as the next person,” he said. “I think [I’d be open to it.] If a lot of the same people were involved…[if Tom Verica], our amazing director for all six episodes, was back on the helm. I’d be happy to work on the ship that he’s captain of any day. And also, it would be great to work with all my mates again. We really did have a great time.”
