Female Venezuela Fan Had Everybody Changing Their Mind About Their World Baseball Classic Victory Over USA [VIDEO]
Venezuelan fans stole the show against Team USA.
Female Venezuela fans became stars of the 2026 World Baseball Classic. International broadcast caught fans supporting Team Venezuela during the gold-medal game against Team USA, and some went viral as soon as they appeared on social media.
Before FOX caught a couple of fans cheering for Venezuela in the ninth inning of Tuesday’s game, another fan drew a lot of attention with a short but impactful appearance on camera.
Barstool Sports’ X account shared a video of a woman wearing a Venezuela jersey and a hat being interviewed by TUDN. She sent a short message to the team.
“Long live Venezuela, y’all. Let’s win today,” she said.
The clip lasted only 12 seconds, but racked up 1.5 million views in less than 24 hours. Another account shared another video of the woman sitting on the stands.
“I’m so excited. Let’s f***ing go, Venezuela. Let’s go!” She added.
Team Venezuela Upset Team USA After A Dramatic Game
Internet detectives got to work after this woman went viral. A couple of minutes later, Leidys Ortiz’s name was everywhere on social media. She has been an avid fan of baseball and has supported Venezuela for a minute now.
Ortiz describes herself as a photographer and fashion designer on Instagram.
Team Venezuela conquered the world of baseball on Tuesday with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Team USA at loanDepot Park in Miami, Florida. The South American team fought until the end to secure the victory and the first World Baseball Classic trophy in the country’s history.
