Starz has at last unveiled the episode titles for Outlander season 8 – leaving fans overwhelmed with emotion as the fantasy romance series approaches its conclusion.

The period drama, adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s novel series of the same name, will broadcast its concluding season in March.

Featuring Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser and Caitriona Balfe as Claire Fraser, Outlander has cultivated a devoted fanbase throughout the years, thanks in part to its captivating central love story.

The programme’s eighth season will comprise merely 10 episodes, including a finale that has already sparked widespread speculation across social media platforms, reports the Daily Record.

Via Instagram, the official Starz account disclosed all 10 episode names alongside the caption: “Just going to leave these #Outlander Season 8 episode titles here… Now get cooking on your wild theories!”

The fresh announcement revealed the finale will bear the title ‘And The World Was All Around Us’ – a direct nod to the closing line of Gabaldon’s debut novel – which states: “And the world was all around us, new with possibility.”

Heartbroken supporters instantly expressed their responses in the comments section, with one penning: “The fact that the last episode is the last line of book one has me in a chokehold.”

“I’m not ready for this beautiful love story to end,” another contributed alongside weeping and heartbroken emojis.

“I don’t think that I should be crying as hard as I am,” a third confessed, whilst another declared: “You’re tearing out my guts @outlander_starz.”

“My theory is that episodes 801 to 810 are going to make me cry,” another admirer revealed.

“The Episode 10 title ‘And the world is all around us’, is the last line of Book One!” one more viewer posted with two crying emojis.

Others expressed nervousness about the upcoming season following the title announcement, with one fan confessing: “I’m so ready but a bit afraid of the ending.

In contrast, some supporters insisted the concluding season should be extended, as one remarked: “Why only 10?”
