Netflix Confirms Crew Girl Season 2 — And Fans Say It’s Becoming The New Off-Campus!

Netflix has officially renewed Crew Girl for a second season, just weeks after the young-adult sports romance series premiered on September 10.

The show follows Teagan Tao, played by Miku Martineau, whose life is turned upside down after a major family scandal forces her to leave everything behind and transfer to an elite prep school on the East Coast. With no girls’ rowing team available, Teagan joins the boys’ squad, where she finds herself caught between two very different teammates — team captain Josh Regis and determined underdog Cam Dillinger.

Crew Girl - Netflix Series - Where To Watch

The series quickly gained attention among viewers for its combination of sports competition, coming-of-age drama and romantic tension, earning comparisons to popular titles such as Off-Campus.

Season 1 ended with several major developments for the characters. Teagan finally appears to be getting the opportunity to help establish a girls’ rowing team, a move that could force her to leave the boys’ squad behind. Meanwhile, Cam steps into a leadership role and grows closer to Teagan, while Josh remains very much part of the romantic equation after sharing a significant moment with her before leaving the team.

The finale left fans with plenty of unanswered questions, setting the stage for another chapter in the story.

Romance Movies to Fall in Love With

Following the renewal announcement, star Miku Martineau expressed her excitement about returning to the series.

“I am beyond excited for Crew Girl season two,” she said. “There’s so much left to explore with the characters, the romances and the rowing team. It will definitely be a packed, juicy, drama-filled second season.”

The series was developed for Netflix by Vivian Lin and Morwyn Brebner. Alongside Martineau, the cast includes Jessica Paré as Ella, Sam Braun as Josh, Kyle Clark as Cam and Thomas Cadrot as Coach Hayden.

Crew Girl' Races Toward Second Season

While Netflix has not yet announced an official release date for Season 2, fans are already speculating that the new episodes could arrive sometime in 2027 if the series follows a similar production and release schedule.

For now, viewers can revisit Season 1 and continue debating one of the show’s biggest questions: whether Teagan’s future lies with Cam, Josh, or somewhere entirely unexpected.
