Brianna has a bag full of items that she has brought back from 1980, including Frank Randall’s last-ever historical book. It was published after his death, and after Claire had gone through the stones.

Frank knew where Jamie would end up. He knew that the Revolutionary War would reach North Carolina and that Jamie would end up part of it.
