The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram this week to share a carousel of highlights that shows off their private family life in a way that we’ve never really seen before – truly, truly relaxed.

The post, simply captioned “Summer Holiday” begins with a sweet black-and-white photo of Meghan and Harry at the dinner table, caught in a fit of laughter.

What follows is a series of moments spent by the seaside, walks along bushy tracks and some poolside fun. In one of them, doting dad Harry turns into fun dad Harry as he flips Lilibet into the hair while enjoying a swim.

Archie is also seen being given a tour of the cockpit of a plane, taking on the role as the pilot complete with a hat and the steering wheel in his hands.

But there are two photos that would’ve no doubt had tongues wagging if Markle allowed for comments on the post – two shots of her in her swimmers.

One snap shows the As Ever founder and With Love, Meghan star dressed in a black one-piece, looking on as Harry hits the surf with the kids. Another is of her again in her bathers, this time with her straps down as she laps up the sunshine from a pool lounger with the family pooch.

While the exact location was kept under wraps, it is believed that the Sussex’s spent their holidays in the Alentejo region of Portugal, where they were spotted in the village Melides – the spot where the former royals are said to have purchased a holiday home within the grounds of the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club. Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie is also said to have purchased a holiday home within the same luxury development.

The Sussex’ also spent some time in Althorp during their break, Princess Diana’s childhood home in Northamptonshire, England.

The share comes just days after the former Suits actress made headlines for clashing heads with Aussie chef Poh Ling Yeow during her recent guest appearance on MasterChef Australia, a claim that Network 10 instantly shut down.

According to reports, tensions allegedly grew between Yeow and Markle after the MasterChef contestant-turned-host introduced Markle as “royalty” when it was requested to stay away from such titles when introducing her on the show.

“We’ve had MasterChef royalty in the kitchen before but no one like this,” Yeow said in a promotional clip for the episode.

According to Page Six, the line reportedly left Markle “very frustrated” which then in turn “upset” Yeow, who allegedly requested to apologise directly to Markle but the suggestion was rejected and she told to “leave it to production to handle.”

The claims have been branded completely false by a spokesperson from the network, who told news.com.au both got along perfectly fine.

“The MasterChef judges and Meghan had a wonderful time filming together. Any suggestion to the contrary is completely false,” they said.
