Outlander’s Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan confirm what they’ll pinch from set when show ends
Outlander’s protagonists are preparing for the end of the long-running time-travelling drama.
Outlander stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have opened up on what they plan on taking from the set once the series wraps up.
The time-travelling drama is halfway through its seventh season and is set to wrap up filming after its eighth season reports the Irish Star.
Heartthrob Sam Heughan and his on-screen wife Caitriona Balfe have been discussing the end of the beloved series and what he plans to take from the set after the show’s ten-year run.
In an interview with Good Morning America while promoting the seventh season of the show, Sam was quick to answer when asked what he was going to take home with him.
He revealed: “I love all of Jamie’s weapons but I love his boots.
“His boots are like the thing that, I feel like Jamie once I’ve put them on.”.
He then asked Caitriona the same question, and she confirmed she’d only take her corset with her.
Since their time on the show, the duo have become good friends.
In an interview with EW, Heighan revealed: “We just started chatting in the [chemistry] test before we started the audition, and we just seemed to get on.
“Her humor is fantastic. She’s great fun to work with. She’s very hardworking, a wonderful actress, very natural.”
Heughan, who was turned down for Game of Thrones numerous times before landing his role in Outlander, apparently knows how the series ends while Balfe is in the dark about it.
“He smugly holds it over me all the time,” she joked. “To be honest, I actually like not knowing.”
