The latest episode of House of the Dragon season 2 has left fans shocked to the core. While Daemon makes peace with his past, it feels more surreal for him to envision a burden-free future. Apart from that, Rhaenyra consolidates the masses’ belief in her abilities as she welcomes common folk to try to tame dragons. This further encourages the dragonseeds to come forward and try to test the magic of their Targaryen blood.
Elsewhere, Alicent is struggling to come to terms with doing nothing after Aemond dismisses her from the small council. She feels left without a purpose and goal in life. Moreover, Aemond seems to stop at nothing to sustain power and make the most of his position as Prince Regent. Various schemes and stratagems aside, House of the Dragon season 2 is finally spreading the foundation for one of the biggest wars to come.

Addam of Hull bends the knee to Rhaenyra
In her pursuit to have more riders for her dragons, Rhaenyra unexpectedly comes across Addam of Hull in House of the Dragon season 2 episode 7. He claims to be chosen by Seasmoke as his rider. Even when the two come face to face, Seasmoke remains close to Addam in the protection of his companion.
Addam bends the knee to Rhaenyra in an instant and recognizes her authority. This sparks a further conversation where Rhaenyra is accepted by outsiders but people around her seem to disrespect her claim every now and then.
