A guest on Strictly Come Dancing star Gemma Atkinson’s new podcasts has revealed how her 30H boobs she had by the age of 14 attracted so much unwanted attention that she was desperate to have a reduction operation. Speaking on the Oversharing podcast the girl called Amelia said that one heartbreaking moment came on the night of her school prom when a boy she didn’t even know asked to have his picture taken with the ‘girl with the boobs’.
Amelia said that on holiday people would stare at her – and on nights out men would just think they could touch them. But she was left in debt after being unable to get an operation on the NHS – but said it was worth every penny.
On the podcast host Gemma, an actress who appeared on Hollyoaks and Emmerdale revealed she had the opposite – after an ‘unhealthy’ weight loss regime meant her own chest shrunk, leaving her feeling horribly self-conscious.
Gemma said: “I had naturally, big boobs growing up. Not massive, but a full bust. And I lost a lot of weight very quickly from just not eating correctly and doing just cardio and nothing else. It was very unhealthy, and my boobs and bum just disappeared. I ended up with golfballs in socks.
“I had mine done because I lost confidence in how they were. So for me I was I want them back to being big again because it makes me feel like myself again. I’ve got broad shoulders, I’m 5ft 9in, so it was more in proportion.
“But on the other hand there are people like yourself [Podcast guest Amelia] who are in agony with a big bust and I imagine for you as a young woman there would be a lot of unwanted attention from the opposite sex people like older guys thinking you’re older than what you are.” The podcast guest Amelia, from Manchester, had spoken about her 30H bosom which she had by the time she was 14.
She replied: “You could see my boobs coming in the room before me. There would be weird stares on holiday, like the people around the pool, on the beach thinking ‘oh my god this 14-year-old’s walking around and she’s had her boobs done’. That’s not the case at all.
“You get really horrible people going up to you and just thinking that having a touch is fine. It’s absolutely not. I’ve had that twice where it’s like. I’ve never worn revealing tops because I want to conceal them.
