Despite the eye-popping underwear antics happening 15 years ago – at the 2001 National Television Awards – her red-faced moment remains a talking point for telly fans.

Re-living her blushes the presenter dubbed it the most embarrassing moment of her career and said: “I was mortified.
“I chucked it into the dustbin the very next day.”
Fans of the annual awards show were left gobsmacked when her black outfit fell open to reveal her busty lingerie as she stepped up on-stage.
Judy, 68, said: “I was wearing a halterneck evening dress and had a brand new matching black bra but it didn’t fit properly so I swapped it for a trusty old favourite, a lacy pale pink.
“‘Noone will ever know’ I said to Richard (Madeley, her husband) as we changed in our hotel room.
“They soon did of course.
“The black halterneck slid down to my waist, revealing my pink undies to the nation.”

At first she was unaware of her flesh-flashing as she stood alongside hubby and co-presenter Richard.
They began to make their acceptance speeches after picking up their gong and it was only when a kind-hearted John Leslie dashed up to point out her fashion fail before helping her to cover up.
Around 12million viewers witnessed the event unfolding live at the Royal Albert Hall.
Meanwhile, the awards ceremony secured the biggest audience for ITV on a Tuesday night for two years.
In an attempt to make light of the cringe-worthy episode, a flustered Judy typically tried to blame Richard.
