Gabby Logan questioned her husband Kenny Logan’s thought process after he gifted her with a raunchy item she wasn’t expecting at Christmas.
Gabby Logan has revealed she was gifted nipple tassels for Christmas by her long-term husband Kenny Logan – a present she won’t forget. Reflecting on her reaction, the 50-year-old said she believed her spouse had bought her nice lingerie but instead was faced with sequin-emblazoned nipple tassels which she has kept but has vowed not to wear.
In the latest edition of her The Mid.Point podcast with Kenny, Gabby questioned his thought process as the pair reflected on gifts they had bought for each other over the years. The presenter explained to listeners that she and her spouse had had a glass of champagne one year and decided to open some gifts early, which included a new set of knives.
Not impressed with the gift, Gabby said: “I think this is a beyond no-no for any man. You should not buy any kitchen untensils ever.” Agreeing with him that it was thoughtful however, she added: “I was always saying my knives for cooking were blunt.”
“Along with?” Kenny joked, to which she went on to explain: “We came back from church, had a glass of champagne and decided to open another present. I opened this box and it was nipple tassels.”
After Kenny referred to them as “protectors”, she replied: “No, they were like sequin things with little tassels on the kind of thing that the old fashioned strippers would kind of like [perform while wearing].
“So, as I opened the knives and that I said, ‘I could be a circus act’.” Turning back to her spouse, she said: “I don’t know what you were thinking, but you did buy me some useful other things.”
Kenny went on to explain that he did buy her some underwear in the same shop but was then asked by the cashier if his wife would like some nipple tassels too.
Laughing, he said of his reaction: “I went, ‘She’d love them’. She was flattering me.”
“And of course no one can take nipple tassels back,” Gabby replied, admitting she had decided to keep them.
The couple swiftly moved on to discuss a time Gabby came downstairs dressed as Mrs Clause, which took his mum by surprise.
He recalled: “[You were] in the shortest skirt. My mums eyes almost popped out of her head!”
Mistaken that the moment was before they had kids, Gabby swiftly corrected him to say it was very much years into their marriage.
Following this, he joked: “So, you were trying to liven it up with my mum there?”
“No,” she replied, laughing. “It was Christmas Eve, it was all fun, I think the kids had gone to bed.
“I obviously couldn’t show the kids I was Mrs Clause, that would’ve ruined everything for them.
“It was just a bit of fun, I definitely haven’t got that outfit still.”
Gabby and Kenny married back in 2001 two years into their relationship after meeting at a bar.
