RTE star Patrick Kielty left little to the imagination as he surprised Jean-Claude Van Damme with a “regretful” outfit.

The martial arts star, whose films include Double Impact and Timecop, sat down with Patrick on the Late Late Show tonight.

After their chat, the Muscles from Brussels showed Paddy some of his martial arts moves by karate chopping bottles in the RTE studio.

The Co Down man then attempted to copy him but before doing so, he went backstage for a quick outfit change.

The presenter then came out wearing a navy jumper and skin tight beige leggings.

Everyone in the audience burst out laughing as he pranced around the set showing off his outfit.

Patrick was apprehensive before trying to hit the bottles.

Jean-Claude gave him some confidence and said: “It’s inside you I can feel it.”

Patrick made a quick X-rated pun and said: “It definitely feels like it’s inside.”

After successfully smashing the bottles, he told viewers: “I told you it was going to be good craic.”

He finished off the segment saying he’ll be back after the break and “will still be regretting wearing these tights”.

RTE viewers were all left in stitches at Patrick’s outfit and praised him on being so “brave”.

Jackie tweeted: “Thats an unfortunate rear view shot Paddy. Fair play, at least its a bit of humour on a dreary evening.”

One fan said: “Brave man there, Paddy.”

Katharine wrote: “Patrick Kielty to the costume department when they ask why he insisted on skin colour leggings #latelateshow.”

Niall added: “I’m seeing a little bit too much of Paddy – if you know what I mean.”
