Tess ‘made sure everyone knew it was a party’ with revellers leaving in the early hours
SOZZLED Strictly stars sang Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home) for winner Karen Carney at the show’s wrap party.
Departing co-host Tess Daly, 56, led a raucous rendition after the former Lioness’s surprise Glitterball trophy victory with her partner Carlos Gu.

5The do was held on set at Elstree Studios, Herts, cash-concerned Beeb bosses opting for a low-key affair instead of a lavish bash.
But the stars, their partners, family and friends and the show’s judges got stuck into the free bar.
A source said: “Tess made sure everyone knew it was a party!
“She led the singing of Three Lions in honour of Karen.
“Everyone was in great form and keen to have a good time.
“It was poignant that they were dismantling the show’s dance floor as the party went on.”
Tess was at the get-together with presenter husband Vernon Kay, 51, and their daughter Phoebe, 21.
Her co-host Claudia Winkleman, 53 — who is leaving with Tess after 11 years together at the helm — popped in for a quick drink.
The revellers left in waiting cars at 1am, among them Carlos, 32, and 2015 Strictly winner and former The Wanted star Jay McGuiness.
Earlier, thrilled Karen, 38, who quit football in 2019, said of her successful Strictly stint: “It’s been the biggest privilege and honour.”
