Hollywood star Samara Weaving has revealed what it’s really like filming sex scenes, recalling one ‘awkward’ moment between her and a co-star while she was ‘super naked’ on set

Aussie actress Samara Weaving has revealed one of her sex scenes was so “super awkward” that her co-star admitted he wanted to quit acting while she was completely naked.
Weaving, 31, has quickly been making a name for herself in Hollywood, securing roles in Scream VI and Babylon.
And the former Home and Away star is set to grace the big screen once again with the upcoming release of Chevalier, due to come out in the US next month.
Weaving plays the wealthy Marie-Josephine de Montalembert, who has an ill-fated love affair with Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges — the illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner, played by Kelvin Harrison Jr.

The raunchy drama, which is based on a true story, includes some steamy scenes between the pair, but Weaving revealed in real-life the racy moments weren’t quite what they seem on screen.
During a recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Weaving opened up about what it’s like to film sex scenes.
“[Sex scenes are] always super awkward and very mechanical and not sexy at all,” she told Corden.

But the star was left offended when Kelvin informed her he felt like quitting while she was “super naked” during one of their pretty intimate moments on set.
She explained: “Anyway, it was a Friday, and we’re in bed, I’m super naked. He’s there, we’re making out, and this is the time that he decides to go, ‘Ugh, I just want to quit.'”
As the audience roared with laughter at the awkward moment, a stunned Weaving added: “I couldn’t believe it. I looked amazing.”

However, she revealed Kelvin did apologise for the comment after realising he’d offended her.
“He felt bad. And then he was like, ‘I’m so sorry, I’m just really tired. I’m really exhausted.’ So yeah, my lovemaking nearly got Kelvin to quit his career”, she said.
Weaving explained it was actually Kelvin’s busy schedule that was to blame for him wanting to quit, not her “super naked” body.

She said: “Kelvin claims he was having a rough time, and he was, because Kelvin … was up at like 3am playing the violin, he was learning how to fence a million people. He had a rough schedule, he was on every day”.
