The 25-year-old actress, who plays Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, triumphed in a poll conducted by Wonderbra and The Sun newspaper for National Cleavage Day.

The publication asked 1,000 women for their measurements and found that Michelle’s perfectly fitted the favoured dimensions.

It is thought that a depth of about 5cm from the top of the bosom to where they meet is ideal, 15cm from the top of the cleavage to the chin is favourable and circular-shaped breasts are the most popular.

“We are very proud to have Michelle in our hall of fame. She’s a great choice,” a spokesperson for Wonderbra told The Sun. “She embraces her curves and shows that British girls know how to show off their assets and look great.”

A cup size of 34D was most popular with the women surveyed and 49 per cent of females asked have used their cleavage to get served at a bar with seven per cent using it to get out of a parking fine in the past.

This Morning presenter and Celebrity Juice panelist Holly Willoughby was named Cleavage Of The Year in 2012.
